At this point Tenet is less notable for its concept and story (which seems to be a remake of the Pharcyde's video for "Drop") and is primarily relevant as the means by which the film industry kickstarts the second wave of COVID-19 opens the box-office back up to general audiences. Nolan's film is coming to drive-ins too... but only in cities also offering regular walk-in hot zones theaters screening the movie. So when is this coming to VOD and streaming? That depends on how many people are willing to extend the life of this pandemic reward Nolan's insistence on seeing his loud, heady spectacle in theaters as he intended.
