A Rational Solution
I almost want to give this movie a “Don't Miss!”—almost. But I feel many people might not like it, or fail to see or relate to its powerful point. The film is set in a Swedish town that’s dominated by a paper factory. The town is peaceful, the people are happy, and the factory is doing good business. One worker in the factory (Rolf Lassgard) is happily married to a music teacher (Stina Ekblad). Both are also marriage counselors at the local church. One day the factory worker falls in love with a woman who works in a cafeteria in the town’s high school. (The woman is from the Star Wars world—Pernilla August.) The marriage counselors try to find a rational solution to this situation. As for the best sex scene in the movie, it happens right after fruit falls from a grocery bag.
