The Golden Glove
Fatih Akin has won international acclaim for the Golden Globe-winning In the Fade and the European Film Award-winning Goodbye Berlin, but critics are less than thrilled with his newest, an exceedingly grim black comedy about the real-life killer Fritz Honka. Ben Kenigsberg of the New York Times opens his review thus: "Filmmakers can have a tough time distinguishing themselves in the crowded serial-killer genre.
