Tankard & Tun is Pike Brewing's newest adjoining restaurant and oyster bar, complete with a brew deck and an expanded fermentation cellar. The name is derived from drinking tankards of the past (similar to beer steins) and Pike's mash tun brewing vessel (which diners can glimpse from the restaurant and deck). Coinciding with Pike Place Market's June 2017 MarketFront expansion, Tankard & Tun "will hone in on decades of passion for pairing handcrafted beers with locally sourced and flavorful foods."
