Couple Miri Plowman and Gabe Skoda sling poffertjes (mini Dutch pancakes) at local farmers markets and other events and run their own catering business. Now, they also have a concession stand at Golden Gardens (the site of their first date—aww), full of fresh, thoughtful refreshments, like kebab sandwiches; a "big ol' salad"; picnic platters with cheese, nuts, and dried fruit; and acai bowls. On sweltering days, guests can cool off with chocolate dipped Full Tilt bars, La Michoacana paletas, and housemade beverages, including piña colada slushies, rhubarb lemonade, nettle mint iced tea, and more.
